Update #2

I came back from Delhi in a state bus at about 10 a.m. today.

My mom is doing okay postoperatively. She has had a total knee replacement on the left. A physiotherapist visits her everyday who has advised my mother to use ice packs on the left knee along with exercises.

As soon as I arrived from Delhi, Nageshwar Giri Maharaj and I attended a meeting at the gram sabha hall for a group of villages. The assistant block division officer, a very kind human being, asked a few questions from the villagers about Nageshwar Giri Maharaj while Maharaj was present. He got satisfactory answers. This means that Maharaj's identity has been validated by the villagers in their presence. This is likely to speed up paperwork as assured by the ADO himself so let's wait and watch.

After the meeting, Maharaj and I drove to his kulpurohit's (family priest's) home and asked the purohit to pick up an auspicious day to allow us to start work with a JCB excavator. He picked up 8th and 9th. Because of Maharaj's availability (he does Ramayana path on second Sundays) we agreed to start work on the 8th.

I am sleepy. I am still moving my stuff to the village and will move there in a few days.

If you are reading this, thank you very much.
